How to mash with Google Maps

The fun folks at Google Maps Mania just posted a neat collection of tutorials and tools for creating your own Google Maps. Includes a webcast for those of you who need auditory assistance as well.

Lastly, here's our favorite map from the GMM sidebar: Dig a hole to the other side of the Earth and find out where you'll surface.
